Jill Bixler is in her second year at Olentangy Liberty High School, and Liberty Tree Elementary.   Previously, she has been an orchestra teacher with the Delaware City Schools and Port Clinton City Schools.  Mrs. Bixler holds bachelor's degrees in  music education and violin performance from Florida State University, and a master's degree in music education from the University of Toledo.  She has performed in various orchestras throughout the state of Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida, and is currently playing with the Central Ohio Symphony in Delaware.  Mrs. Bixler is an adjudicator for the Ohio Music Educators' Association.  She also enjoys playing chamber music, and performs on the violin and viola.   Mrs. Bixler currently lives in Delaware with her band director husband, daughter Maggie, dog and cat.
